Here at Chez Gantner, we are having sautéed chicken thighs, mashed potatoes, fresh spinach cooked with a little olive oil and garlic, baked apples and tossed salad.

Stuffed peppers over salad.

Smoked Pork Chop with peach pepper jam and a simple vegetable medley of carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli with grated Parmesan.

We went to Flippers, Spanish Springs. They make better pizza than we do!

Salmon blacked, fresh beats, corn, red potatoes, roasted. Chocolate crapes for dessert. Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon.

I had fantastic meals the week before Irma when Barbara and I were at Daytona Beach and she was doing the cooking.

My father used to call home everyday and ask my mother what she was making for supper. It used to drive her crazy. One day, she was particularly stressed and she replied, "Horsesh*t and splinters!" Without missing a beat, he said, "Just make enough for one. I'll grab something on the way home."

I made chicken and rice for one of my dogs who hasn't recovered from Irma yet. I myself had leftover chicken chili.

Had take out from the Colony Plaza China Gourmet. Just read on another thread that they only have a health score of 61. Right now I feel okay.
