Portuguese Lessons
 

Hello,
Does anyone know of someone that would be interested in teaching Portuguese(Brazilian) to a beginner? I have been studying on my own but need the actual interaction. Thank you for your suggestions.

I met a young person who is a reporter for The Daily Sun who speaks fluent Portuguese. You might just call and ask, she was very friendly and nice.

Any social clubs in the Villages that focus on Portugal and/or Brazil?

MUITO OBRIGADO. I will joint any Portuguese club that you put together. It would be great.

There was an ex missionary to Brazil volunteering at the Palm Harbor Library when I was there. She tried to teach me some Portuguese but it did not stick.

One thing I do is put a movie on Portuguese sub-titles if it has them and see what they write. And often you can get it in Portuguese and put on the English subtitles.

I do hope that the subtitles are better than they were as they often seemed to add or subtract stuff.
