One day cruise of the Villages!
 

our Unclub member Maybe has come up with an interesting idea of a day full of activities such as one would enjoy on a cruise ship but staying right here in the Villages :) tentatively we would start with lunch at the Golden Corral at one pm to replicate the buffet experience :) followed by a couple hours poolside at Summerhill Pool. At four one could come up with another suggestion or just take a nap! then at six we would meet at Paradise Rec Center for the Bohemian Cafe, a variety open mike show. Afterwards we are all invited to Maybe's home for charades, games and party! if you want to be included in all or some of these activities or have suggestions please private message Maybe. the date is saturday, Oct 7.

If there is enough interest in doing so, we can begin before lunch with cards and other games. The pool party also offers shuffleboard and bocce ball. Swimming is of course encouraged, but not required, just like on a real cruise ship! Summerhill pool offers various degrees of sun and shade. Short "Excursions" between the pool party and the 6 PM Bohemian will depend upon interest in doing one, and any good suggestions. Simple ones would be Lake Miona Park or the new nature reserve on Moyer Loop.

just bumping this and also a reminder that today is the Italian Parade in Spanish Springs at 3:30. i plan to find a seat near Kilwin's...bring folding chair! always fun!
