roofing problems
Many people have posted about roofing shingles issues after the hurricane. These people have said the warranty department has not stood behind the warranty saying it was caused by the hurricane and therefore not covered. Those shingles should be able to withstand 100mph plus winds if they were installed properly. In my humble opinion, if the home owner can show poor workmanship in the installation, the developer should pressure the contractor to make good the repairs for no charge or release the contractor from doing any future work in the villages.

This is all B.S..... My roofer did not nail the shingles down properly and then he tells me they were defective...they are not adhering to the roof properly and CertainTeed is responsible . I am following protocol but I know I'm probably going to have to get an atty. I'd really LOVE to contact the T.V. newstation and show them everything..the developer has us over a barrel and they know it!
