Need recommendation for orthopedic surgeon "Fractured shoulder". In Rome. Coming back to Villages for surgery. Thanks.

Suggest how to make contact with Dr. Mitchell's office. Repeated messages promise call back. Never happens.

This is the other number I have for Dr. Mitchell. I believe it may be the number of the schedulers? 800-541-2850.

For some reason, my neighbor also had a difficult time having the scheduler call back, but they finally did after about 1 week.

If I couldn't get in touch by phone, I would probably drive to the UNOVA clinic and schedule with someone in person. Not something you should need to do, but a possible way to get an appointment.

Husband had shoulder replacement by Dr. Alfred Cook, Advanced Orthopedics Institute.

My wife was a patient of Dr. Cook. He was thorough, he tested, he listened, and ultimately treated her shoulder with a couple of shots and physical therapy. The treatment worked and we would not hesitate to go back to him.

After even more telephone attempts, even the 800 number, I went in person to the clinic UNOVA. I couldn't believe the response. The lady at the front desk and then the office manager. Dr. Mitchell was in the clinic, he was comsulted and agreed to see my wife Friday shortly after her return from ItLy. I appreciate everyone's r sponse.

Another vote for Dr. Cook. He did a massive repair on my shoulder (due to a fall) and ultimately a reverse total replacement including bone grafts. Surgery was the end of March and today I am unaware that there was ever anything wrong. He's a great surgeon!!
