Drummer looking to jam with like minded players

Hey everybody, I’m considering setting up a jam room in our house in Pine Ridge and wondering what if any reaction you musicians might have to my idea.

I’m not looking to form or join a pro band that plays out all the time, more something along the lines of we get together once a week or so, play and learn songs we all like and enjoy playing, have a few beers, and just have fun. If something bigger grows from this then cool! But the primary goal is to have fun, no-stress, no ego, jams. If this sounds interesting let me know.

I’m nowhere near a professional musician, maybe a advanced intermediate player. I’ve been playing drums off and on for 40 years with some garage band experience playing all the usual classic, southern rock, blues, etc., so beginner to intermediate players, this is your chance to do something fun.

The jam room is upstairs so you’ll have to be able to haul your stuff up. But the good thing is you can just leave your amps, speakers, etc., if you don’t feel like hauling stuff up and down the stairs.

This will be day time, early evening to keep the neighbors from complaining, but hey if we’re good enough they won’t mind and get free entertainment as well! So again, let me know what you think.
