Italian Festival Today
 
Italian festival and parade today.... who's coming. Don't need to be Italian to enjoy the fun.

We're meeting around 4pm near the clock at LSL.... Look for DickY and me, you can't miss us.... or call me for updates on place and time.....

Wear a lot of Sunscreen folks, its very bad out there today.... Hats too. Bring water!! Very hot in TV these days, certainly doesn't feel like Oct. Have fun everyone and be safe!!

Gotta rub it in for use stuck up north. We had a mild frost already and are about to start our yearly total eclipse. Weather calls for cold, rain and windy. High temps next week are in the high 40's and low 50's. Low temps in the lower 30's.

I caught the above fun bunch in the Van Heusen store in the air conditioning. Don't let them kid you into thinking they suffered. Even their pocket books didnt suffer Geeezz 80% off.

Actually, I hid in Starbucks (*$$$) for most of the afternoon. It was hot outside. The parade only lasted about 15 minutes but it was fun getting together with the gang.

Sorry about your weather, Hawk. But you should be down here!! No excuses...

Did you all wave at us? I watched the cam for a little while. Saw a couple of people waving and/or throwing kisses at two different times while I was watching but don't know if it was any of you or not. I waved back just in case...<wink wink>:a20:

It looked like everyone there was definitely searching out the shady spots!

Hey, the Van Heusen store was where we spent a lot of time back in July. They were having a fantastic sale then too! Do they do that often?

I'm sorry Betti, it was so bloody hot at the square that we all ran for shade and were sitting in front of the *$$ (Starbucks)... so I know I didn't wave but some others may have.

Yes, the Bass/Van Heusen shop had wonderful sales. I bought $15.00 shoes... WAAAHHOOOOO.... and yes, they do it often esp inbetween seasons.
