I need to have some jewelry appraised for insurance purposes; can someone recommend where I should go?

Gold In Art at 441 and Rolling Acres is great. I’ve had good service and honest work.

I actually called 2 places this morning. Ardens at Lake Sumter wants $150 PER PIECE. Yes, that's $300 for a bridal set. Coast to coast at Wedgewood Lane charges less than $100.

Gold in Art doesn't do appraisals. They will only recommend an appraiser nearby.

Chuck or one of the other brothers at Coast to Coast are excellent. Been dealing with them for years.

Once a month, The Villages Insurance offers an appraisal event. A certified appraiser comes to the office. Cost is $45 per item and the appraisal will be mailed to you. Call The Villages Insurance in Lake Sumter Landing and ask when the next appraisal event will be held.

It is an eye opener to have more than one appraisal service appraise your jewelry, silver , etc

Our jeweler updates my appraisals every three years for a blanket rate.
