To new folks, here in Florida, dryer fluff turns into an almost solid felt-like substance because of the high humidity and can clog the vent and cause fire.

You will be amazed at the junk that comes out of your dryer vent....even up on the roof!

The tech arrived on time and left the laundry area clean. More importantly, he found something that our new professional home inspection did not. Our laundry vent was not attached in the under roof area to the outside vent. (It was hidden by the air conditioning duct work.) Our vent was spewing lint into the attic...maybe explaining the extra dust inside the house?

The person who came out indicated that he had found an obstruction. We said that our dryer was drying all of our clothes fast, so we were surprised by the news of any obstruction. When he did some investigation, he found that the obstruction was that he was hitting roof trusses going up the vent from behind the dryer. Our dryer vent was stacked up in the attic, but not connected to the outside vent. (House built in 2013.)

He connected the vent properly and cleaned the lint out, including a couple of petrified frogs and anoles. We were glad that we chose a vendor who could do both and in one visit.
