Fenney Putt & Play

My wife & I played the Bluegill 9 hole 974 foot par 26 putting course tonight before dinner. We enjoyed this course and will try the Sunfish 9 hole 918 foot par 25 next time. There are plenty of parking spaces for golf carts but no spaces close for cars to use. We used our own putters and balls although there are some available on site when the shack is open.

You want to be careful parking as they started ticketing cars that parked on Fenney Way blocking the golf car lanes. There is plenty of parking at the Blue Heron pool but it's a long walk. Also, they told us you can park at the sales office and someone will take you up in a golf car. They are trying to find a fix for this parking blunder but I don't know what it will be.

Thanks for the update. I didn’t want to imply a parking blunder as I am trying to stay in good Gracie’s with the powers to be.

It has been officially referred to as an oversight.

We did enjoy both courses with a delightful evening, lots of laughter, with friends.

And yes it's a bit of a walk but helps us folks stay in shape, whether it's square, round, or other. My case it's round.......smmhhh

Walking a long way is a challenge for me, but I guess I could have my spouse drop me near the start and then go park the car.

What I want to know is, are there benches along the course where I could sit briefly. For example, between holes, so I could rest my back while the others in my group take their turn.

Played both courses yesterday for the second time.

Parked in a nearby vacant lot with about 10 other cars. The lack of convenient car parking is the only negative I have.

This place is a gem. Lotsa fun and challenging.

There are benches and water coolers.

Do you make reservations for the course?

Thanks for the photo. It makes the parking issue much clearer. I guess those empty lots would be ok until the houses are built nearby. If my two cents means anything, I would expand to current parking lot to have the row near the water accommodate cars. Or we can wait until all the tunnels and bridges are built. Then we can pack a lunch and dinner and drive the golf cart down!

So do you walk along that road, then the cart path to the island? Looks like you have to walk with back to traffic or cross over to other side of road to be safe.
Where is the sales office in relation to this?

Can you take your oxygen cart, and ride a Round-A-bout on the course..? If not, can you substitute for a walker, and oxygen backpack...?

P.S. When I bring my nurse as a caddy on the field, would that constitute a fifth person...?

Do you do that at any of the other executive courses?
The same rules would apply.
