Social media has allowed idiots to relate to eachother and therefore they think they are normal. Hence, the disease grows.

True... Very few smart people use facebook for more than keeping in touch with family.

And most social media sites are such that one person may carry on a dialogue with themselves filling up a page giving the impression of interest by others.

And as is the usual far too many folks will extrapolate the musings/rantings/BS of the few to act and sound like a correct, majority representation.

Social media like this forum is fake representation. People say and do things in anonymity they would never do face to face or in a group. Promotes a cowardly prone communication media.

It's used in social engineering...getting people to buy things...They "hype" something, falsely make it LOOK like there is a lot of interest/agreement. This activates the "herding" instinct in humans to "go along". If everyone else thinks/believes/does it this way...I should too...ALL those people MUST be right.

Anonymity allows people to say what they really think when it goes against their "public persona".

You are not anonymous on Facebook and making comments on there often have consequences.

There seem to be little or no consequences on this Political Forum for CRIMINAL HARASSMENT. That is scary. Would you go to a hotel when in one room it is acceptable to verbally abuse another person and pretty much anyone who wants can see and hear what is being said?

Non-RINO republicans -- Trump, Bannan, Teaparty, Libertarian (esp) -- have an understanding of Type 1 vs. Type 2 (instinctively if not explicit).
