Wife has decided to start playing again after having major surgery last November. Are there any M/F groups here in TV that you can join for golfing on exec courses? We reside in Hadley Village down by Havana CC.

I think you can sign up for ladies day and mens day on the executive courses. You'll have to check with your neighborhood to see if there are other opportunities. For example, I understand the Village of Hemingway has neighborhood groups for exec. and for championship courses. Good luck!

You aren't too far from me in Sabal Chase and there is a group there called Par Tee Golf. I think if you look in the phone book for a lady called Ginny Withee she might be able to point you in the right direction.

Also there is a Sabal Chase couples golf group where you maybe could sign into. They just pick a course to play each month and she sends you an email just before the beginning of the next month to let you know which course.

If you wish to take part you reply to the email and she then puts you together with another couple and you make your own arrangements to play as a foursome some time that month. There aren't any prizes or anything but at the end of the month she emails you with details of the winners and the points scored. It's a good way of meeting other golfers.

Hey, just thinking. If you're too far away from Sabal Chase to be allowed to join the Par Tee group (they meet for lunch too by the way, which is nice), then perhaps all you new people down Hadley way could form your own group and maybe let me join!
