Championship Golf at Fenney
 

The attached plan was submitted for the construction of houses in Fenney. It also shows the location of a championship golf course, Tall Pines.

The plan identifies two of the three nines - Loblolly at the north end near CR 468, and Longleaf at the south end.

I noticed what appears to be a soft ball diamond west of the golf courses at the Desoto Recreation Center along with something else drawn in that I can't figure out. Also, lots of Villas which have been selling very quickly down here are going in over there.

Vintageogauge, do you have a map of where the Desoto Recreation Center plans to be in relationship to the rest of Fenney? TIA.

Looks too small to be a champion course. Or is it just me??

Looks like three holes to me.

I do not have a map but it's under construction right now. If you come into Fenney just follow Fenney Lane until you come to the gates that are also under construction, it is on the right just as you enter Desoto. Not far from the Putting course in Fenney.

Can't wait to play a new championship course. Hopefully they will provide free golf cart use to Village residents not living in Fenny.

was there today,sales guy said it's not happening. maybe at some point but not in near future, but told me this is last build out! ha ha,

why free. no golf course provides free carts

Because it would be the only Villages championship course we could not get to driving our golf carts. My understanding is that Fenney residents are provided free carts at the 12 existing Championship courses because they can not get there in their carts. Maybe my understanding is not correct? Does anyone know?
