Besides ignoring the Constitutional requirement of the Emoluments Clause, he is now ignoring the First Amendment requirement of the Separation of Church and State. The Supreme Court of the United States confirmed Thomas Jefferson's stated insistence that there is a "wall of separation between church and state" in the Court's decision of Everson vs. Board.

So beyond kicking over the Constitution in myriad ways, I haven't seen Trump do much of anything except hire Wall Street billionaires to destroy our protections.

In a lengthy opinion written for the Court majority, Justice Black recounted the history of religion in America. The earliest settlers, many of whom had come to this land seeking religious freedom, had determined that the best way to achieve that freedom was to give government no power to aid religion, or the authority to support religion or any particular faith in any way.

It's his house...his home...I would imagine he can decorate it any way he wants. Did he lose his 1st amendment rights when elected?

Wouldn't some of you become annoyed if the only thing anybody said about you was always, ALWAYS presented as what you are doing wrong....no matter what you do or did....or good or bad....just always, ALWAYS presented as the bad guy saying and doing bad things.....no matter what.

Most of the antagonists here would not handle it very well.....yet they live for the next trashing of Trump or anybody else that opposes their views for that matter.

We know there will now commence the usual yeah but counterpoints.

Figured I'd add this:

I wish he'd put up a Confederate Flag. In the oval office...visible when he's giving a speech...taking pictures.

Sure, put up a symbol for a defeated cause. Too bad the Union persisted to win. The south is an embarrassment both to the Union as well as the world since 1866. If the South had been given the choice to self govern over the past 150 years it would be considered a third world country today both economically and culturally.

The sheer and total stupidity of this post ranks as one of the stupidest ever.

Your reference, and of course your hero Trump, to the Obama greetings which was year after year....MERRY CHRISTMAS but when did truth enter into it. He talks you simply echo whatever he says true or not.

Now, the other thing is the Christmas card sent by our President, who by the way is President of ALL, not just christians.

It recognizes that at the same time as Christmas season, in the United States of America we celebrate...Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule, Saturnalia, Festivus...to name a few.

This President as I have said before wants to wage war and have it fought by american citizens against each other.....based on color, religion and birth place. He instigates it at every turn.

So...

He came to earth, and YOU are a catholic you say.....he came to earth FOR ALL, not just white, anglo saxons.

Donald, can you hear those footsteps behind you? It's Mueller, and it ain't going to be good news for you. He'll be "Putin" you in a world of trouble.

What IF the South had won...we surely wouldn't have the problem with minorities we have now. We wouldn't have half the population collecting benefits. We wouldn't have the problem with blacks in schools...wasting EVERYONE'S time. They'd be out working...not stealing and killing. ALL of America would be white and look like a Norman Rockwell painting. We wouldn't be bred out of our own country. We wouldn't be an EMPIRE!

ALL presidents have done that...divide...unless they're going to war...then they unite.

He came to earth for "all mankind"...but that leaves out blacks...Jesus NEVER mentions black people. His biggest supporters these days.
