Jim Nabors Dead: 'Gomer Pyle,' 'Andy Griffith Show' Star Was 87 | Hollywood Reporter

Gomer Pyle among other things like some good singing. Had no idea he was gay but hardly matters in 2017.

We met him during our honeymoon in Hawaii in 1981. We were given front row seats to his show by our tour group and he came down and talked to us. Very nice person.
