Recommendations for shoulder surgery
 

Need to have rotator cup surgery and looking for any info on doctors in the area Also has anyone used Dr Mitchell at Unova Orthopedic on Rolling Acers Road?

Dr. Mitchell did my shoulder impingement surgery this past March. I was VERY happy with the results.

Dr. Mitchell is the BEST !!! did mine 3 yrs ago.

Dr Cook is excellent also.

Just be sure to have who ever you choose confirm that the surgery is the best option.
It is all a function of whether your life style is being affected.

I have a complete tear of my right rotator cuff. Surgery was presented as an option going on 3 years ago. As long as I can swing a golf club, hold a drink, smoke a cigar and repeat I have decided to wait until it stops me from doing what I do.

Yes there are times I have to stop and re-get an item or lift. And yes there are times that it aches...a little.
All acceptable trade offs for me VS the 3-6 months rehab.

Keep an open mind when hearing from some when stating they were back to normal in 4-6 weeks!!!
