"On December 8, 2017, Brittany Covington plead guilty to the charges of committing a hate crime, intimidation and aggravated battery. Additional charges, such as kidnapping, were dropped as part of her plea deal. For her crimes, Covington was sentenced to four years of probation and 200 hours of community service."
