2010 Yamaha clutches
 

I recently bought a used 2010 Yamaha gas cart. I believe the team clutch is bad. I talk to a company by the name of Don Plowman. He tells me all 2010 Yamaha clutches are bad, and I should replace both the drive and driven clutch and other parts to the tune of over six hundred dollars. He said he had over 10,000 customers in The Villages and I should try and to talk to one of them. The cart clanks when first accelerating and jumps on take off. It is noisy. Are you familiar with this man and what do you think about my problem? I would appreciate any help with this problem.
