I'm Concerned
This website, which used to be a tremendous source of helpful information about The Villages, seems to have become overrun by racists, misogynists, xenophobes and other judgmental contributors who are convinced that they are somehow superior to people who are not exactly like them in appearance and thought. I don't think it's a reflection of America as a whole, and I hope it's not a reflection of The Villages Community. Any thoughts, and please don't bother with the name calling because I don't give a flip about what you think of me personally or politically. Just curious if others get the same sense.

And the Political Forum is full of a gang of particularly foul trolls led by Allegiance and Dirtbanker. Who crossed over into the realm of CRIMINAL HARASSMENT a long time ago. I have no idea why the MODERATOR has not banned these two from the Political Forum and Talk of the Villages as well. The law will catch up with CRIMINALS such as these. Some may need to give it a HUGE push. There should not be a PASS on long term CRIMINAL HARASSMENT. |

When you show me a TOP black school...a MIT or Oxford...I'll believe in equality. When you show me the negro Einstein, Newton...Leonardo, Rembrandt. When you show me the great civilizations...Greece, Rome. When you SHOW me something they as a people are equal in...THEN I'll believe they really are. Until then...I see them as the low of the low...beneath everyone else. ALWAYS the lowest class no matter the society/country. Do you have anything to PROVE otherwise? Oh...it's you...guess I wasted my time. |

The type of political posters you describe above are either not serious people or do not have the ability to assimilate . They are lacking in content knowledge and rely on one word arguments. Foul language and pornographic remarks are used to cover for their lack of subject content. There are a number of serious minded posters open to intelligent debate. I do wish there were more There is no way of knowing if a poster resides in The Villages, outside perimeter of The Villages or in another state. Also their is no way of really knowing their age, race or sex. Personal Best Regards: |

A lot of others also "lack knowledge" but use a LOT more than one word. I count 3...maybe 4. The rest are old fools who have fallen for the propaganda their whole lives. I wish there were more too. People who could debate with facts...not opinions they dredge up online. Bet there aren't any black people...this isn't their thing. |

"They" make accusations with no credence or backing...."they" label fellow americans into groups and then attack them...."they" refuse to not only believe the US media, but even to do any work to find the truth.. "They" join in attacking our FBI and other agencies on the cue of the President or State News (FOX) "They" respond to justifiable criticisms of our President with critiques of Obama or Clinton, non related, not true and certainly not a reason or defense for the President. THUS,.....and "they" do so much more.... "THEY" turn this into a post by post back and forth....I post something with a link, and if it is not positive to Trump, "they" will ignore, use the Clinton name or Obama and simply ignore the meaning of the post. Then leave by lecturing all other posters. And the most remarkable thing "they" do is to profess extremely high standards, speak of their religion, and their goodness, and how in their life they have always been the good guy, THEN spend the post supporting lies that they know are lies...lying is still a sin, I think, and actually if my memory serves me, a lie from a President would be taken much more seriously by the above, as if someone else lies because it affects an entire country and much of the world. "They" demean, those who now are in the limelight with all the sexual predators that suddenly are in the limelight. EXCEPT, they ignore those by certain folks. "Question: "What does the Bible say about hypocrisy?" Answer: In essence, “hypocrisy” refers to the act of claiming to believe something but acting in a different manner. The word is derived from the Greek term for “actor”—literally, “one who wears a mask”—in other words, someone who pretends to be what he is not. The Bible calls hypocrisy a sin. There are two forms hypocrisy can take: that of professing belief in something and then acting in a manner contrary to that belief, and that of looking down on others when we ourselves are flawed." What does the Bible say about hypocrisy? i do not believe there are exceptions given because of the registration card reflecting your party affliation that you might carry. Impossible to preach morals and follow present day GOP. They leader of that party reflects the worst of human behavior |
