Best place/method to sell a used golf cart in The Villages
 

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum to post in, so apologies in advance if not.

My mom is going to be moving out of TV soon, and will be looking to sell her golf cart.

I don't have make/model info now and that's not the real point of the post. My question has to do with how most people go about selling used carts in TV.

I've seen some posts here on TOTV, but it really looks like no one has replied to people's "for sale" ads (unless they did so by phone).

Anyone know if the golf cart sales place in town buys used carts? I know that would be wholesale if they did, but just curious. Their Sumter Landing phone number doesn't seem to work.

If not sales on TOTV, do people use Craigslist or some other method?

Appreciate any info. I'm in NY, so gathering info long distance.

I have always had success selling items through TOTV. Under the "old" system people tended to reply to the post, but under the "new" system they tend to call or leave private messages.

TOTV is a good place to sell a golf cart. I would recommend you pay the extra $5.00 to get the post pinned for 7 days so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Another place is www.nexdoor.com and craigslist: kansas city, MO jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

Craigslist for Ocala area produced quick results for a friend of ours.
