The parade of Baked Alaska is making a comeback on Carnival cruise ships.

The once-a-cruise procession of Carnival waiters carrying the classic dessert into dining rooms — a one-time staple of Carnival sailings — has reappeared on the line's 3,936-passenger Carnival Vista and will be reintroduced fleet-wide by early next year.
