Underground Propane Tanks

Does anyone know the approximate cost to install an underground propane tank and necessary piping and hookups in a new home? Seems like I recall a thread on this subject awhile back but darned if I can find it now. I know it's something that has to be done following the closing but it's something we'd like to have done prior to moving to TV.

I have never heard of anyone here having one, and it would surprise me if they did, considering the water table being high here. I could be wrong, but just doesn't sound feasible to me. I would guess, if you had a lot with some elevation, it would be possible, but again, I am no engineer.

They are used for pool heaters as well as cooking and clothes drying in some of the newer areas where there is no natural gas.

I'm not sure of the cost but you might want to start here.

I'd start with either Architectural Review or Home Warranty Dept. Haven't heard of this in TV.

Katezbox should be able to help you. They had one recently installed for their kitchen.
We are also looking to have one put in down the road when we add a summer kitchen.

Yes there are underground propane tanks in TV. Our house in Hadley has one that feeds the pool heater and the grill in the summer kitchen. It was already installed prior to us buying the house and I have no idea what the cost was for it.
