Some day this will be a thing of the past.

The year before we left we got 4 ft of snow in 2 weeks time. I don't miss it one bit!

And when the earth makes it elliptic path further away from the sun and create another ice age Florida will be central Florida will be coveed in snow.:confused:

And then we move to wherever the new florida will be.

Sure do not miss driving on black ice. Spent some of New Year's Eve 1983 backwards stuck in a snow bank outside of Cheyenne, WY. The snowplow pulled me out after a few hours and I got into a hotel late. 1983 was a year of calamity with the Davis Creek Mudslide occurring little over a mile from where I was working at Bower's Mansion's concession on Memorial Day ONE KILLED AS A NEVADA MUD SLIDE FLOODS LAKES AND DESTROYS HOMES - NYTimes.com then the tire rod put on backwards by a Salt Lake City garage a few days after that. New Year's Eve in a snow bank seemed appropriate. 1984 just had the attempted carjacking of the same car involving all this. Part of my wanted to say "Take the damn thing". But I fought back instead. Unarmed small white guy in suit at 2:30 AM. Easy to wrest the car door his was threatening to slam on my legs away from him. Went car less for 5.5 years after that while using the Twin Cities bus system and Jennifer as a chauffeur/roommate/girlfriend.

Had done many turns with this car on a freeway in Salt Lake City too going around in circles and ending up facing oncoming traffic. Probably same trip as the snowbank thrill outside of Cheyenne. But, But, But I thought it was going under water ?

It’s a white Christmas in Michigan. 4 inches so far. Snow blower, sled, gloves, and fun ready.

Best ice scraper I've ever owned is now in a cheap shadow box...hanging prominently in the garage. :D

Looking outside to 6 inches of snow. Someday for us will be April 2019. Then I will take a picture of the snow shovel, and hang it in the lanai. Under it will be a table with a candle. Anytime it snows more than an inch up here, I will light the candle, take a picture and share it with our (former) northern friends!
