Has anyone noticed
 

that the "other" online news has been offline for two days?

I got on it yesterday, but nothing today.

There is no crime to report on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

They may have run out of insults to throw at each other.
A break could give them something new to say, instead of the same old drivel.

Interesting that there is a core group that takes shots of the online news site. How does that group know anything about the site, I would assume that if they disliked it as much as they say, they wouldn't be looking at it. I'm so confused :)

I got it today like always but then again I paid the $25 for all of next year. I agree that much of it is crime but there are plenty of things that I enjoy reading.

Agreed, many call it a rag but never offer proof that reports are not accurate. Actually the Daily Sun includes some, but not all, of the same crime reports.

I enjoy reading it, there is a lot there that the Daily Sun doesn't cover and it's good to know what's going on good or bad.

The crime should be divided into villages and other areas.

Not make the villages look like wildwood...aka the wild West

I look at it often when they have some story not covered by The Villages Daily Sun.

My comments on it are probably under five postings if that. And some of those could be someone pretending to be me.

The reporting may not be inaccurate but very often it is incomplete, never tells the entire story, or often leaves the reader hanging or asking so what!!

I thought the website just crashed from being over subscribed!!

It came up for me just now.

The truth "you can't handle the truth"

IMHO both the Daily Sun and the Villages News are journalistically worthless, the latter being far more of a rag, though. Do people really pay for it? I had no idea....

Still being sent to my computer, but I won't pay.
