Straight Talk Cell

Does anyone use Straight Talk for their cell phone carrier and if so how is the service?

we have two Straight Talk accounts. One using the AT&T network and the other uses Verizon. Both work well and it's nice to always have at least one cell phone with bars. In both cases I bought unlocked phones and made sure the one would work with Verizon and the other AT&T and then bought the sim chips for the Straight Talk accounts.

Thanks for the info.

A T & T works for us in Canada (Ontario -- two hours north of Toronto.)

Another Straight Talker here. I’m on the Verizon plan. Really love them.

I'm with straight talk and have never had any problems between North Carolina and Florida. However, yesterday was wonky. Many calls didn't go through or kept dropping. I figure it was the increase in traffic.

Have had both with Straight Talk At&T and Verizon towers. You can buy the phones directly from Walmart but the trick is to read the reviews on the phone to determine which towers that particular Straight Talk phone uses. Two years ago I bought a Verizon S4 phone at Walmart and found out I could not use it with Straight Talk. Am now with Verizon month to month and reup monthly automatically with charge card. Customer service was US based and excellent when porting my number and signing up and am very pleased with Verizon. $40/mo + tax with the total maybe $45/mo for 2 GB data for about the same cost as Straight Talk.
