Difficulty contacting TECO
 

I am pretty sure I need a new water heater and have been trying to contact TECO to arrange for their new water heater at $9.99 for 60 months. I cannot reach a person, not only that, but their automated line tells me there are no contractors working in our area!!!

Any suggestions please.

$600 for a water heater? What kind is it?

OK, found the correct number 800-235-4427 40 gals $9.99 for 60 months. We are responsible for new drip pan and extension tank.

Last year I got a great deal on a heater from Lowe's, got an additional 1O% off -- Veteran's discount, and installed it myself with help from a neighbor. Took maybe an hour, max, and after rebate I paid $0.00!

I looked online to see if my electric co. Seco had a water heater program like Teco but I couldn't find anything.

Bare it is a standard 40 gal gas water heater. Looked into instant hot water and worked out that we cannot live long enough to make it pay for itself!!!!

Update to my Gas Water Heater problem. Within a day of calling Teco to use their replacement service, a plumber arrived yesterday along with a 40 gallon tank. He installed it and I now having hot water! It is a STATE Water Heater which is the same make as was in the home when we purchased new. Under Teco agreement, $9.99 added to bill each month for 60 months. Excellent painless purchase.
