Due to cold weather, The Villages Entertainment Department has cancelled all entertainment at the three downtown squares for January 3, 2017.* For additional information, please visit www.thevillagesentertainment.com.*

If temperatures will be below 45 F at "show time" they cancel all entertainment so don't expect anything until probably Sunday at the earliest. We'll be lucky if it hits 45 F. during the day this week!

The forecast is for highs in the low 50s the next 3 days and then the mid 60s on Sunday.

Firstly the 45 F. "rule" is at NIGHT when the performances occur not at 3PM when the "highs" occur (unless you now live in CA or CO where they are always high!) :), Not quite sure what zipcode you're looking at. I have 4 weather apps and they all seem to be pretty close:

Wed: Low 34 high 49
Thurs: Low 30 high 46
Fri: Low 28 high 46
Sat: Low 31 high 51 (getting better)
Sun: low 35 high 62 (HEAT WAVE!)


Highs are all listed at around 3PM (unless you now live in CA or CO where they are always high!)

Around here as I am sure you know once sundown comes temps drop fast.

Maybe you are looking at report from further south? Hopefully all my apps are wrong. :D
