Thanksgiving
 

Can anyone suggest a good place to take the family (all adults) for Thanksgiving dinner - later in the day? Does anyone take reservations in TV?

Watch The Villages Daily Sun. Many restaurants, and especially many of the country clubs in TV, have special Thanksgiving dinners. Reservations are often recommended. If you already have a favorite place to eat, I would start looking there by asking about Thanksgiving and what they offer. Branch out only as necessary to someplace else.

We will be away this Thanksgiving, but the first Thanksgiving we lived here, in 2007, we went to Katie Belle's for TG dinner. The food was fine, and since we didn't know many people here yet, we were glad to be there among lots of holiday cheer with other Villagers, and with the fun ambience of live music; and then we went out to the square for more music, and then to a movie at Rialto to polish off a fun and memorable holiday experience. (Last year we were at friends' home for TG, but if we were going to be here and go out, I would pick KB again).

Palmer Country Club takes reservations. Excellent meal and service. Fills up fast.

We have a group of 12 going to Cattle Barons at katie bells on thanksgiving.
Always good food there. They are taking reservations.
