Magic Eraser on tile floors
As we are now permanent residents of the Villages, one of my house tasks is to clean the floors which in our house are all tile. I am known as the Swiffer king. My white socks stay a bright white longer if the floors stay clean. Never the less I have had troubles removing scuff marks and other stains on the tile.
The other day my wife suggested that I use a product called Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean. I wish she had suggested this product months ago as it removes everything with ease. Have others had this same success with this product on tile floors and is there a downside with its use? So far, I am sold on Magic Eraser. |
Magic Eraser is a great product. I haven't had any issues using it.
I had a spot in my grout in my laundry room that I never could remove using everything in my arsenal. (Actually, I forgot to use the Magic Eraser and I imagine it would have removed the spot). One day, after looking at that blackish spot in the grout for over a year, I tried Lime Away (in the green spray bottle). The spot immediately disappeared with no effort at all on my part. All I did was wipe it away to my jubilant surprise. it looked like the spot was never there. Limeaway isn't only for Calcium, lime and rust build up. |

We were introduced to dry grout powder to clean tile. Sprinkle a bit on mark, wet and rub. This actually removes excess grout left on the tiles.
