Can someone recommend a free or low cost program to run on my ipad to stop the taboola videos? Thanks for any suggestions.

You will have to disable on some sites if you want to see content....i.e. most newspapers

If using Google Chrome, install Ublock origin after that, install privacy badger.

In Ublock Origin Dashboard, go to 3rd party filters and check off under Ads the 1st 2nd and 4th ones.
and check off all the ones under Malware Domains. This combo WILL mess with facebook games, but leave
your privacy intact as good as possible.

No configuring needed with Privacy Badger, it learns as you surf
