I have some avail right now - see my posting on Items For Sale here. FREE - cut down a peach tree in our back yard. Will be putting out Tues for yard waste PU Wed. But all pieces are 3' or so - including 14" diam trunk and lots of branches. In Yard waste bags. Will need to be seasoned for some time-fresh cut.
If you'd like to pickup - PM me. |
Publix at their Southern Trace location has bags of fire wood for sale. Not cheap at about $5.50 a bag but it is dry and is hardwood so it should burn quite a while.

Why Buy it. Just go out & drive around & look on the side's of the road. There's plenty of wood lay'in around left from Irma still. Just a thought....

I have seen this in several grocery stores, probably at Walmart also. As for along the road side, if you drive along RT301 North, there are very big piles along the road. Just watch out for rats, snakes, etc.

We have a firepit and we get our wood from Jon, delivered and stacked 813 786 2375. We enjoy awesome fires. Really nice family they are. I think we paid $125 for a good truck load.

How much for a bad truck load?

Funny. I meant a large truck load...
A bad truck load should be less expensive! |
Last time I drove up that way, there was plenty of wood alongside Hwy 301 north of CR 466 in Marion County before you get to CR 42. Been there since Irma so it is probably very dry by now.
