Blue Cross Blue Shield Anthem COVA supplemental insurance to medicare
 

Does anyone have the Anthem COVA supplemental insurance? If so, are you satisfied with it here in the Villages. Are you pleased with the doctors who participate with it? Thank you in advance for your opinion.

Anthem COVA supplemental insurance
 

We just retired and moved to the Villages 2 weeks ago. We are contemplating getting Anthem COVA supplemental insurance to Medicare and was wondering if anyone has had experience with this insurance. Were you satisfied with the doctors that participated in it here in the villages? Thanks in advance for you opinion.

We don't have Anthem COVA but I looked on the COVA web site and saw two doctors we use and are very pleased with:

Tomas Perez Family Medicine
Robert Kersh Cardiology

They are both part of Villages Health

Keep in mind that if you are on Medicare Dr. Perez will not accept Anthem COVA even though he is listed as in network on the COVA site.

You might not be getting a lot of responses because only a small proportion of The Villages residents follow Talk of the Villages. You would probably get a better response naming some particular doctors.

If you search through the many messages on Talk of the Villages you will find comments about specific doctors... you can check to see if they are in the COVA network and get some current comments about the doctors by posting here again.

Sounds like you are already committed to living here :smiley: In any case you may find that you end up having to move through a couple of doc's 'till you find one you are satisfied with.
