Need doctor specializing in early dementia care
 
Hi all,
My other half seems to be having more frequent indications that there may be signs of early dementia. Does anyone have any suggestions who to see for a work up and diagnosis?

A neurologist would be the doctor to go to. We have had good luck up at Shands in Gainesville, and the Mayo clinic up in Jacksonville. You could always have followup care here in The Villages.

I haven't heard of a neurologist here in The Villages who I would really consult.

Compass Research, now Bioclinca Research on Wedgewood lane, near the Shell on 466 and Wedgewood is doing several studies on this. You could try calling them for advice.
