Spartanburg Way Fire Damaged House
 

Does anyone know why they have not started to repair/replace the house that was hit by lightning on Spartanburg Way yet? I would have thought they would have done something by now. Insurance problems? Just wondering.

Here's a question.

The house was built by The Villages contractors. Who can rebuild it and how? Must it be replaced with the identical home, or may the owners opt for a different design with an outside contractor?

is that another one in Virginia trace?
We saw one that backs to Stillwater with a fire-demolished roof that looks like it was speedily repaired.
The longer it takes the less appealk to visitors.

The house on Pelican Path that was was hit right around that same time was down to the slab the last time I drove by - that home is well underway to being rebuilt.

I played golf with a guy last week that lives in the area of the Spartenburg house. I asked him about the lack of progress on rebuild. He said he had "heard" that there was a problem with home title and/or some type of estate issue. This is at best 3rd hand info so take it with a big grain of salt.
