Not going to happen

And it was predicted that they'd go 16-0 this year. While they did make it to the Super Bowl they really had a substandard (for them) season and caught a lot of great breaks in order to get there. Which just shows how silly stories like this are.

I can't imagine anyone with any sense betting on next year's SuperBowl at this point. We have no idea what's going to happen. Gronk might retire, Brady could finally feel the effects of aging. They'll have a new defensive co-ordinator. They also have 14 players that are free agents now. Some of them are key players like Danny Amendola, Malcom Butler, Rex Burkhead, Dion Lewis, and Matthew Slater. They also have players that are rumored to be let go in order to make room in the salary cap.

I'd say that the Eagles are in a better position to repeat than the Patriots are to get back there.

But who knows. You can never count out Bill Belichick. He has always found a way to be competitive.
