investment opportunity in Daily Sun

Last week, and today there was an ad in the Daily Sun for a "guaranteed 18%" return on your investment. OK this sounds way too good to be true, so I tried due diligence, what I found was nothing, no company name, the "website" had no information other than a single link to sign up.

So my question is did anyone go to this meeting, and if so did they find out what this investment is, and the company behind it?

The only 'investments' I have ever seen with this type of return were payday loan based companies, and ponzi schemes.

Thanks for any info.

Was it in Classifieds or in a different section?
I work at the Sun, and if you call the main office, our receptionist can transfer you to either Classifieds or the editor that wrote the "article" and they may have some information for you.

If you don't get the information you're looking for, here, of course.

This was an advertisement to go to a meeting, in today's paper (Monday 7th) the to meetings are at the Microtel and 2 at the Waterfront. There is an implication this is government backed. I am guessing there were few attendees....Cedwards38, I agree completely, which is why I was trying to find out what the gimmick was. I really am not interested in sitting through what I am guessing will be a high pressure sales talk.

Yeah, I have no info on that one, sorry. I'm in Circulation, not Classifieds xD
