Sometimes it doesn't work for me either. Just sometimes. I will press search, type in my words, and nothing happens.

Somebody asked this same question last week. I found about a year ago it quit working. If you hit your back button until you get to the previous website, then return to TOTV, it will work. Sometimes I'll hit a tab and open a new window, but the main aim is to use search when you are new on the site and haven't clicked on any pages. So just leave the site in one form or another and come back and do your search.

The other way that will work, and sometimes it will give even better results is to google talkofthevillages.com: and the subject you're searching. I found this works great on just about any site. Type in the address including the .com followed by a colon mark, and your search and enter on google. example

hardly ever works for me

It seems to be working right now but most of the time you type something in and hit a return and it just sits there and does nothing.

Sometimes it works, but mostly it doesn't. I thought maybe it kept a schedule, like 9-5 and never on weekends.

I have found if I click on the Home page the search feature always works. It doesn't from the post pages often.
