Morse Boulevard & CR 466 – UPDATED 3:45 p.m.



SECO Energy just notified us that the work described below, originally scheduled for February 15, 2018, has been rescheduled for next week. We will provide additional information as it becomes available. We apologize for the inconvenience.



SECO Energy will be performing maintenance that will result in a power outage of the gate house located at Morse Boulevard and County Road 466. This work is anticipated to last from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. During this time, both the entry and exit gate arms will be removed and signage will be added. Please use caution when entering or exiting this location and pay attention to all barricades, signage and gate attendants.

Yes jusy saw that, and the "other" news site just reported it was tomorrow, so looking forward to next week.

When this works happens it is going to be very difficult for golf carts traveling south on Morse Blvd. to make the necessary left hand turn before the gate in order to proceed to the tunnel going under 466. Heck, it is often very difficult to make that turn when the gate arms are operating!

During the 12 hour power outage at the guardhouse, will the guardhouse be the only house without power?

The signs will read Don't Stop or slowdown and Don't be courteous.
That way no one will be violating any signage

Please don't yell fire till next week with this important information for people who can't follow signage and avoid barricades ;)

I hate going down MB there, it's gauntlet for vehicles and golf carts. I go around el Camino Reno to avoid that demolition Durby!
