Sidewalk along 441/27 near Spanish Springs
 

Does anyone know why the sidewalk along 441/27 near Spanish Springs is blocked off? I've seen barricades on all sections of the sidewalk from Morse Blvd all the way to Avenida Central.

I can't figure out why it might be blocked off and I know someone on ToV who is smarter than me will know (or at least will express their opinion).:)

I believe it's because they are putting crossing lights at each intersection. Take a look at all the lights that are up and still covered and not operational yet.

I'll have to take a look the next time I drive by. Seems really strange that all of the sidewalks are blocked, even at the driveway to St. Timothy Catholic Church. Can't believe they would be putting a light at that driveway, but who knows. Anybody else care to add an answer to this question?????

Stupid as this may sound MAYBE the county inspector hasn't ok'd the completed project yet.

They are waiting for the cross lights crew.
Maybe sometime next year.
I can see the golf carts using it as a freeway....
