WOW !!!!!
Me thinks there is a lot of fine print to read with that sale.

Most of the cost of the lot is embedded in the price of the house.

The listed price is a 'premium' over and above that. So, internal, small lots have a small premium, and large, golf course view lots have a big premium.

I think all the +3K premium lots are for villas. My waterfront lot was a 39K premium.

The lots mentioned are interior lots for designer homes in the Village of Fenney. My wife is a sales rep for Properties of The Villages and just looked them up. She would be glad to show them to you. Just private message me or give her (Karol) a call at 352-255-7993.

They say most villagers move 3 times. I am curious about Finney. I would like to know how many Villagers in percentage moved or are moving to Finney. For example when Collier opened up maybe 20% of the buyers were Villagers who moved, not first time buyers. I just guessed at that number.

Interesting comment, I'm wondering how many villagers are from Florida. Seems that most folks are coming from a cold weather climate. Been in Florida for 24 years and looking for a reason to move to the villages

I can tell you that the phone book says where everyone comes from. Many come from Florida or maybe SC or NC but that where they first retired. So just by adding the numbers from the phone book 40% of the villagers come from the north east states. That does not include penn or ohio.

If you look in the newspaper each day usually 1-4 pages from the front page they list the number of Villagers from 5 or 6 different states. I was keeping track of those numbers for a while for the N.E. but lost my list. Depending on how many states and which states you are including there are a lot but there aren't as many as you might think. Also you can opt out from the phone book when you move in and many do.

Here are the 3 moves :

1) Drank the Kool Aid, got drunk, counted the pennies

2) Got drunk, didn’t care about the pennies

3) Hubby croaked, got drunk, counted the pennies

On third house in TV. No longer attached to a home. Never looking for next house, but one popped up anyway.

I think my Uncle Howie and Aunt Phylis owned the Dairy Queen in Chester a long time ago. All three kids worked there too.

Didn't do Dairy Queen, but there was a great ice cream place on Main St, loved the Publick House , the Lamp Lighter & the Turkey Farm

I'm a Florida Native. Moved here from Jax. and grew up in Key West. We moved here to get out of the rat race. The things to do here are enormous in number and the surrounding area is awesome. Weird living in Big Ten country where no one gives a rats booty about the beloved Noles or the stank Gators or Canes. I guess rust belters don't know real football. They say many floridians move here but what they count as a Floridian is pretty generous. If someone moved to Boca ten years ago or Tampa eight years ago they count them as Floridians.
