I'm sorry not to be any help, but I'm getting errors as well. TOTV was being blocked by Norton as an unsafe website last month. That resolved itself but today I can't connect using IE, FF, or Chrome. The only browser that works for me is Opera.

Error message is "www.talkofthevillages.com’s server IP address could not be found."

Edited to add: This is on a Windows laptop and Android tablet for me.

Same thing for me. Does not work on Safari, Google Chrome, Windows 10, Firefox, Nothing. On my cell with WiFi off, beautiful, called Century link yesterday, they were perplexed and no repair.

I am on here via Century Link using Safari. No problems, so far anyway.

Are you using your desktop computer or phone? .. or ipad?
I have Century Link and for the past two days I can access TOTV from my desktop, but not from iPhone or iPad.

Easy fix for the desktop browsers is to point to a different DNS server.
Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network Connections,
Right click on the adapter and click on Properties.
Select Internet Protocal Version 4,
click on Properties button,
click on Advanced button,
click on DNS tab.
Under the DNS server address window click on Add,
enter 8.8.8.8 and click on Add,
add a second DNS server 8.8.4.4.
Click OK, OK, Close.

This directs the internet connection to the Google DNS server instead of your ISP DNS server. Problem should go away.

From what I'm reading here is really confusing me. I am on the desk top using centurylink right now with no problem but have not been able to access on my Ipad using Safari....interesting to say the least... so where does the problem originate?

NotGolfer 03-21-2018 11:14 AM

I use a Netbook and couldn't access TOTV from Sunday til later this morning. I did receive a TOTV posting via e-mail yesterday that "IF" one had CenturyLink there was an issue. I didn't notify CL but others must have. We also had an issue with our t.v. and Channel 6 (no other channels) and it too was a C.L. issue apparently.

NJSonja 03-21-2018 11:28 AM

century link checked everything for me...they said it's not their issue, totv is aware of this, but I have no idea when that will be resolved....I called apple and they couldn't get on either but I have no idea how they do it or what browser they use...

I could not access TOTV site with Ipad or PC laptop. Today I went into my Ipad settings and reset network settings. Very easy. I am online right now writing this but don’t know for sure reset did it or if it had recovered by itself.

Did that and it works. Reboot afterward.
