Village of Fenney Flyover 10-24-2018
 

I did another flyover of Fenney this weekend, this time at a lower altitude, mostly 250 ft. vs the normal 400 ft. I've been doing them as a result of several requests I've received. A lot more details can be seen of the on-going construction. I added some subtitles to point out some of the distinguishable areas, mainly villa neighborhoods, as points of reference. Fenney is filling quickly, I would expect it to be sold out by the end of summer.

The video is shot in 4K and uploaded in 720p so the details are pretty good if you watch in full screen vs the normal YouTube windowed version.

Wow, it looks enormous! Does anyone know how many houses are projected to be in the village?

According to the plans for CDD-12 which includes the Villages of Fenney, Desoto, McClure, Linden, Marsh Bend, Monarch Grove, and DeLuna (everything west of the Turnpike currently under construction) there will be approximately 3637 home about 45% of which will be villas of one type or another.

CDD-12 is about 1500 acres, almost identical in size as CDD-10 which has about 6500 homes, 25% of which are villas. The other CDDs in The Villages have similar size/home ratios also. So CDD-12 will have about half the homes and a lot more green space than existing areas of The Villages.

Wow those are going up fast..
