Marsh Bend, De Luna, Turnpike Bridge flyover 3-24-18
 

Here's the last of the flyovers I did last Saturday. This one shows the Villages of Marsh Bend and De Luna areas as well as two passes over the location of the multi-modal (not just golf cart) bridge to be built over the Turnpike (there are skips to these segments in the YouTube description).

The development appears to leaving all the trees of any size it can in place and just clearing the pasture land and scrub for development. This is adding a lot of additional work (and cost) to creating these new areas of The Villages but it should make for some incredible areas to live and play.

Nothing on the bridge has been started yet that I can see, as it begins I'll be making a lot more flights to chronical its progress as well as the other areas.

BTW, it appears from the ground the process has begun for the tunnel under Cr 468 just west of the turnpike. It appears they are digging :bigbow:.

Actually, I get nothing from YouTube for the videos I post, it’s more just another avenue for feedback. Knowing what people are interested in gives me ideas for additional flights to make. I’m glad people are enjoying the videos, watching The Villages developing is amazing.
