No phone service in Fenney
 

We own a home in Fenney and contracted with Comcast for TV, Internet and voice however they advised me that did not obtain approval to install phone service. Does anyone know the facts behind this. We have limited cell service and need a land line.

That would suck if you have to revert to snail mail.

Although, I've heard the mail is delivered to a central location in Fenney where you can go dig through the pile...and pick it up from there.

I don't understand how digging through a pile of mail has anything to do with the OP's comments about phone service. Maybe you were responding to another thread?

You might take a look at some of the voice-over-IP phone services such as Ooma. Just google "voice-over-IP" to see the choices. These services route your calls through the internet via a small box that connects to your router - your phone will connect to the small box.

Also, your cellphone and cell provider may support "Wi-Fi" calling where your cellphone connects to your router via Wi-Fi and routes your cellphone calls through the internet. Talk to your cell provider.

We have Spectrum phone here in Fenney along with TV and Internet, you can purchase just the phone service if you choose, but cheaper as a package.

We have phone service through Comcast so not sure why you were told that.
