Want to replace the stock screens in our covered lanai for Sun Reducing Screens
Looking to replace our lanai screens with better UV block and privacy screens (Sun/Solar Screen Material). Asking for recommendations for installers. Thx much.

The sun reducing screens are available in 25%, 50%, 75%, or so I was told when we did out birdcage, we opted for 50% in the roof area only. While we have not noticed any reduction in wind, these do hold the water a little longer. Try Whites Aluminum (rt 441, where route 44 crosses a mile or 2 before the Leesburg airport). Also note you need a special size FLAT spline for this screen as it is much heavier (thicker) than normal screen. I had a very hard time finding the correct spline when I enclosed our front porch.

Look at Private Screens out of Brooksville.

I highly recommend A+ Screens *(352) 484-7926. They recently rescreened the lower portion of our lanai with Florida Glass (Phifer’s Glass Shield). The spline used (310) is available from Lowes, T&D distribution and Town & Country in Ocala, but this is not anything you have to be concerned about, since the installer supplies this material.

I used Todd's screen to put in my super screen. Nice job
