There recently has been a much publicized instance of what looks to me to be "slow play" in Pennsylvania where police were called in.

What do you think?

I am always interested in any and all of your opinions, Bogie. I am trying to stay out of controversy here.

It just looked to me like a case of slow play to new golfers. Not meant to be anything more than that. I think they took it wrong. Didn't realize that slow play is so annoying to most veteran golfers.

It was the fault of the golf course . They let a fivesome out on a weekend.. should never let a fivesome out weekday or weekend.

That's the real issue...as the club should have known better.

I'm also assuming that the club has called the police on all other slow-playing groups...and there wasn't any other agenda in this instance.
