Private Message (PM) Notifications
 

I see that Talk Host posted a global "sticky" about issues with email notices, but, many may not see it or realize it pertains to PM notifications.

If you have sent or received a PM in the last few days you probably did not get the usual email notification that a new message is waiting for you on TOTV. I happened to find an incoming PM by chance and I doubt the recipient of my reply has seen it yet.

Just a heads up for everyone to check their "your notifications" link up in upper right quadrant of your TOTV screen .... to see if you have any new incoming messages.

You are right villages07, Sometimes a week goes by before I "remember" to look at my notifications. It would be nice if they could be made more conspicuous. Normally, after sending a PM, I'll put a notice in the forum notifying the person I sent them one.

I usually get a note in my Outlook inbox when there is a PM along with the message. This is not a normal process??

Individual members must select the option of receiving an email when there is Private Message sent to them. It is in your User Cp set up. Since the mail server has been down, that function has not been working.

I believe the server is now up and working again.
