Update on Enclosing our Lanai
 

A few months ago I got great information on totv regarding whether or not to enclose our screened lanai. We had it enclosed in glass and used White Aluminum who did a superb job. We also had Munn's install vents for air conditioning after they tested the air conditioner to see if it could handle the extral footage and it too does a superb job. When the lanai was screened we rarely used it but now that we have the glass (floor to ceiling) we use it daily. During these cooler days it is toasty warm and I love sitting out in the sun each morning since we face east. It is so comforting to have totv and learn about the different vendors from member's first hand experiences. Mega Kudos to TOTV

I love my enclosed lanai too! Its so nice to sit out there and watch the doggies play. I can open the screens when the weather is nice, and can close them when its cold....like today brrrrr :cold:. I bought the cutest little electric wood stove that makes it nice and toasty when needed (which is alot lately lol). It is my favorite room in the house. :popcorn:

Yep...thats what I meant, the lanai is all sliding glass doors...sorry its been a long day lol :faint:

Golfnut, we can open the windows in good weather and have lots of air flow. When we open the front door, we have lovely cross ventilation.:a040:
