Recommendations for Veterinarians the Villages
 

Looking for good vet that is reasonable and trustworthy in or near the villages preferably Fenney area.

I feel the best is Buffalo Ridge. The main hospital is off 466 and a sattellite on 466a by Winn Dixie

Forgot to post they are open 24 by 7. There is always a vet there for emergencies. The emergency hospital on 466.

Dr. Porter in Wildwood in the strip mall with Ace’s is good. He doesn’t push for unreasonable tests, etc. Another good vet is Dr. Valdez in Fruitland Park. He is a little more expensive but probably the most knowledgeable vet around here (per my bridge partner, a retired vet, who subbed for all of the vets around here).

We use Dr. Porter in Wildwood. We have found him to be very reasonable and our dogs have done well under his care.

Dr. Porter....I've been to the others mentioned and he is by far the best.
