Best low-carb take-out pizza
I realize this will be a short thread. There is none. Trying to keep my blood sugar down.

I make my own with almond flour....gluten free low carb no sugar. Pinterest has lots of recipes. Very tasty!!! No guilt!! Healthy!

My go-to treat now is pumpkin chocolate chip muffins with almond flour, ground flaxseed, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, allspice, ground nutmeg, baking powder, eggs, sour cream and olive oil. For my serving, I usually top off with natural peanut butter.

Great question but don't think there's a carry-out option....at least I've not found one in the 7-ish years I've been eating low-carb. That's the down-side of my way of eating....it's do-able but not easy!! Takes A LOT of planning..........BUT if someone knows the answer I'm also waiting to hear it!! Because I get sick of recipes.....

There is a company called Real Good Foods (Real Good Foods – Real Food You Feel Good About Eating.) that produces a low carb pizza (4 carbs). Haven't tried it but it sounds interesting. They do not sell to the public but their site says the pizza is available at Walmart. I checked Walmart online and it says it is out-of-stock. I put in an email request to be notified when it is back in stock.
I'm always willing to try anything. LOL |

If you're willing to share, I would love your recipe which sounds much more healthy. Sorry, I have no suggestions for your low carb pizza dilemma. I have done a few recipes with almond flour as well due to my son being gluten intolerant. As you say, it's amazing how your tastes change when you make permanent changes in your diet. Feeling better and having more energy are great side effects too! |

I think you can also buy Real Good Food pizzas at The Green Apple health food store on Rolling Acres Rd.

If you can find a low carb flat bread (already baked) at Publix (on rack across from where they make the sandwiches) you are good to go. Put on sauce, cheese, pepperoni, a few veggies (thinly sliced but not too many. Don't pile on toppings as it will get soggy), and some 5 cheese italian on top (small amount). Bake at 425 for 8-9 minutes. Enjoy!
